My apologies for not getting this out sooner. I
had not realized the CAEN SYx527 (and more) wrapper
was updated in 2012 until quite recently. This
wrapper includes 64-bit compatibility and is
necessary for the CLS HVCAENx527 app to build on
64-bit (thus "current") architectures, but it has
a different API. I've updated this EPICS app to
use the new API and put it up at the CLS Open Source
web site:
http://exshare.lightsource.ca/OpenSource/Software/Forms/AllItems.aspx
(then drill down EPICS->HVCAENx527->HVCAENx527-1-3)
I've only run short tests on a 64-bit Scientific
Linux 5.4 machine. If anyone there tries this
out, please let me know if it works properly, or
screws up. (and let me know if the above link
doesn't work)
Note, this version (1.3) has very few changes from
the one that's been kicking around for a few years
(1.2). This means I have not implemented the event
mode (I'd really like to when I get the time because
it should really save on traffic volume and make the
app more responsive), and it does not work with any
of the non-SYx527 systems that the wrapper is capable
with.
