Yes, there are several ways to do that.

- Set the SCAN rate of the record that is polling the memory pool statistics to Passive.  This record is "$(P)$(R)PoolUsedMem".
  caput PROF:LI20:3501:PoolUsedMem.SCAN "Passive"

or

- Set the asynTraceMask of the Ethernet camera to 0.
  asynSetTraceMask("PS3500",0,0)

Hi All,

I have an areaDetector based SIOC that has reads out several Ethernet cameras.
Many times some of the cameras are powered down, causing messages like these to be periodically printed out.

	2014/04/07 10:59:22.767 PROF:LI20:3501:PoolFreeBuffers devAsynInt32 queueRequest port PS3501 not connected
	2014/04/07 10:59:23.768 PROF:LI20:3300:PoolUsedMem devAsynFloat64 queueRequest port PS3300 not connected
	2014/04/07 10:59:23.768 PROF:LI20:3300:PoolAllocBuffers devAsynInt32 queueRequest port PS3300 not connected

Is there a way to temporarily minimize or disable the messages?
