If you could post (or email me) the record definition I can take a look at it.  The results of an snmpwalk of the device would also be useful in troubleshooting.

It doesn't look like an error the driver is printing, there's no "did not find" error in my code anyway, so I suspect it's something from the NetSNMP libraries.  If those can't parse your MIB files the driver won't be able to request the right data element from the device, and that could explain why you get read errors.

Dear All,

I'm still a new user of EPICS, I wrote a simple IOC to get temperature values from the TCW122B-CM module.
The module is SNMP manageable so I used devSnmp from nscl labs as a support device for EPICS.
When I run the IOC, I get the message

"Did not find 'MacAddress' in module RFC1155-SMI"

and the IOC starts anyway. When I use the command caget on the temperature PV I get always 0.

caget TCW122B:Temp1
TCW122B:Temp1                  0

With camonitor, I get

camonitor TCW122B:Temp1
TCW122B:Temp1                  2014-02-25 14:36:17.094394 0 READ INVALID

If I use snnmpget, I get the real temperature value.

Any help to understand why I always get 0 from caget?

Thank you very much.
Nicoletta
