Hi Matt,

When I wrote the Andor3 driver I tested it on my Linux machine.  It is running Fedora Core 14, Kernel 2.6.35.

The Neo camera here at APS is running on another Linux machine, owned by the APS.  They normally run RHEL6 on all of their Linux machines, but I will find out what kernel they are actually running on that machine.

Hi,

We have a Andor Zyla camera, that we plan to control via the existing areaDetector driver for the Andor SDK3 library. However, we're finding that the SDK3 doesn't work on 64-bit RHEL6 (Kernel 2.6.32). I've not had the chance to test the EPICS support yet, as this is purely an Andor issue - their example programs fail to run correctly.

So I'm just wondering if anyone else has an Andor sCMOS camera, that uses SDK3, and has it working under Linux. If so, please could you let us know the distribution and kernel version number?

The camera example programs work on Windows 7 64-bit. So if we can't get it working on Linux that will be our fall back solution.
