No, that flag just prevents the parser from reporting an error when it
sees non-monotonic data. Of course you're then disabling the check, so
if your supposed-to-be-monotonic table has typos and isn't actually
monotonic you won't get notified of that by the IOC, but the result of
that should just be that your table conversions give the wrong result in
the region of the typo(s).
