Each machine has its own view. That means screens can be different. Same workspace only means same application choices. An operator is not allowed to developpe some specific configuration with CSS-op.

A specific (Eclipse?) internal variable can solve workspace locking. (I am not sure. Kay, any idea?) Charles Henri Patard who is the CSS/BOY developper at GANIL will be back soon and be able to answer.

To develop CSS SP2 distribution, we try to use the same eclipse platform that CSS uses.

We will notify the url next month.

Dominique.

This sounds interesting, how does it work in practice? Does this mean that each operator machine has the same screens open all the time? Are you running eclipse 3 or 4? One of the problems we had was with workspace locking, so more details on how to avoid this would be very useful.

Yes, we are definitely interested.

Do you have any more screenshots of complete workspaces with many tabs/windows open?

Thanks,
Tom
