Subject: epics under windows 7 with cygwin

Hello, i try to get epics running under windows 7. i have done everything described in http://www.aps.anl.gov/epics/base/win32.php regarding cygwin. but when i am on the last step and type 
"cd epics/base" 
it says 
"-bash: cd: epics/base: No such file or directory"

whats wrong there?

p.s.: i have no background in programming.
