The compilation works until you are looking for a perl script.
Perl scripts are not compiled... the script is really missing !!!
Because the script is supposed to be in the /usr/lib/perl directory,
it is very likely to be a missing OS or perl package.
There are perl scripts in the epics distributions, but they are all located in the $EPICS_BASE.
