Hello All,

I am new to EPICS ,CSS, and planing to develop Control and Monitoring System for Radio Telescopes using EPICS and CSS

Can anybody tell  me.

-What are software component needed for creating a development environment for fully flagged CSS-EPICS project.

-In which software(CSS or eclipse) major development(programming) will be done. And what are the packages needed for both CSS and eclipse.

-Is there any IDE for EPICS related task or do we have to proceed with command prompt only.

-Which EPICS(java or c++), eclipse and Linux(Fedora or Ubuntu) is better.

Thank you for help.

Kind Regards

Ganesh Jangir
