Hi Paul,

What version of medm are you using? We are running both linux-x86 and linux-x86_64 versions
of medm using RHEL6.

medm has worked very reliably for us until we upgraded our workstations to RHEL6 x86_64. medm (and some other MOTIF apps) now crash the workstation's X11, bringing you back to the login screen. Yuk. medm starts fine, but will bomb after some short time (5-60 minutes). We didn't come across an easy fix, so we've converted our medm displays to BOY. We're a year or so from operations so we have to either resolve the medm/MOTIF/X11 issue or retrain our EPICS users for BOY.

The medm application is running on a (remote) RHEL5 x86_64 machine, not the local RHEL6 workstation which is just the x server.

Anyone else have this problem with medm and RHEL6?
