Pavel,
Once we have the isolated +/- 10 volt  signal from the CTD (two for
redundancy) we connect to a signal conditioner and finally to ADC's .
Our power supply controls and protection systems are not EPICS, but
real-time Linux  (redHawk from Concurrent). We use the LKCO to measure
magnet current for NSTX, our fusion device.

To measure high voltage, we have used the resistor-divider technique
you mention (special HV resistors) to get a measurement down to 10
volt range for conventional ADC.

We also use PPPL-designed  point-point fiber optic links for analog
signals (ADC - serial/digital on fiber - DAC).
