Hmm, that's what I would expect, too. We sometimes had smaller issues
with this IOC but we never had a segmentation fault. In fact I already
used splint, cppcheck, and valgrind (memcheck) to find an invalid memory
access in my own device support code - but I found nothing so far.
The problem seems to occur only on this machine. My device support is
working fine on all other machines. Maybe a SMP problem in the device
support? I'll have to look into that, too...
