femto and std

Hi,
I followed the thread on techtalk but did not find a solution to the problem regarding building std.
I don't have a 64 bit machine. I'm using 3.14.11 and std-3.1 or std-2.8 and seq-2.1.11. This does
build on a couple of other machines I'm using.

make[3]: *** No rule to make target `femto.o', needed by `libstd.a'.  Stop.
