Hi Nalaka,

You have 2 choices to avoid that error:

1) Do what Keith suggested, install the sequencer package and edit configure/RELEASE to point to it.

2) Comment out the line in configure/RELEASE that defines SNCSEQ by placing a "#" character at the start, like the following:

#SNCSEQ=$(SUPPORT)/seq-2-1-10

If you do that and then run "make" at the top-level in asyn it will not build the testIPServerApp directory, and you will not get the error.

Mark

Dear Nalaka

I am an EPICS user, not developer. But I think I can help here.

To convert ipSNCServer.st to ipSNCServer.o for asyn, you need to
first install the sequencer and SNL (State Notation Language) compiler.

- Look in EPICS modules list for sequencer (Now maintained by BESSY staff)
http://www-csr.bessy.de/control/SoftDist/sequencer/

Once you install that, edit the configure/RELEASE file so the SNCSEQ macro points to that installation location
