Hi Dehong,

Well, there is recDynLink, which provided retargetable links for the scan record, back in the days before all EPICS links became retargetable.  I think I would be wary of using recDynLink in new code, because it uses unpublished resources from base.

What's the problem you're trying to avoid with having link fields in the .dbd file?
Is it that you don't know in advance how many links you'll need?

to use for creating and accessing LINKs?
