Greetings all,
I am wading into Matlab territory per request of a (non-controls) colleague. I am not at all familiar with Matlab, and he is not at all familiar with EPICS. This should be interesting.
So right off the bat I notice there are two different 'flavors' of channel access support for Matlab; either MCA or LabCA. It isn't clear to me how to choose one over the other, so I am looking for advice from the community.
To complicate matters, my colleague is running on Windows and likely does not currently have any compiler or make tools.
Thoughts?
