We're trying to control a Gamma ion multi-pump controller via ethernet

from a soft ioc. The problem is that we can't get any response from the

controller. We're using a stream device protocol file that previous

worked for an RS232 gamma ion pump controller. Although I have also not

been able to get any response by telnetting directly to the port and

attempting to issue commands.

This device uses a checksum, so the problem could be that the checksum

is incorrect or some other problem such as the configuration of the MOXA

serial to ethernet card that's internal to the device. It appears that

I've configured the bit rate, parity, and stop bits to match the devices

settings. What else should I be checking? perhaps the response is just

not being transmitted over ethernet and I should configure data packing?
