I'm not an expert in either the Gateway or sscan & saveData, but:

There is a fairly important piece of functionality missing from those versions 
of the Gateway and CAS library; to properly pass ca_put_callback() operations 
through it you really need to upgrade to Gateway 2.0.4.0 on Base 3.14.11 or 
later.  Now I can't actually find any calls to ca_put_callback() in a few of 
the versions of the sscan and saveData code we have installed here, so I don't 
know if an upgrade might fix this or not, but I might be missing something in 
how that client works and it might still be trying to use that functionality 
somehow.

Are both of the IOCs also built against Base 3.14.9 or are they using a later 
version?
