I'm trying to port some old GPIB/VXI-11 drivers to a soft IOC using
StreamDevice, but one of the devices is slow to respond and requires the
IOC to wait for a SRQ to read. The old GPIB driver could handle this,
but I can't find any way to do this using StreamDevice. There is an
"event" command in StreamDevice to wait for a bus-dependant event which
looks like it should do what I want, but I can't find any confirmation
that the GPIB bus support produces a SRQ event, or how to use it. Web
searches haven't turned up anything helpful. Do anyone know a way I can do
this? Thanks. -- Eric Williams ALS Controls
