I have been off of IRMIS for almost an year now. I am not sure whether my past work (what is on sourceforge) is being still supported and in what form.

 

Sorry if I don't have any more information: hopefully Don will fill you in with his current plans.

Hi Gabriele and Don,

Thanks for your effort and work on IRMIS for EPICS community. I am Kanglin Xu, a new employee of LANL. Now I am working on EPICS db. I have a few questions regarding  IRMIS 3.

(1) I saw the IRMIS component module has been done. But in the release, I could find the source for the Java web client. Where can I find it?
(2) If I understand correctly, all the talk to DB would go through data service based upon XML protocols. What is the status of API for the protocols and where is detailed doc? I did find some samples.
(3) How about the XML protocols and APIs for other modules like PV/Channel module or simulation lattice?
(4) Can we use IRMIS as a product now? If so, do you have doc for adding more functions or tables for our site?
If not, what is more need to be done?
(5) Can we use the other web framework rather than Glassfish without changing XML protocols?

Please also provide and advise me on IRMIS status and others, the more the better. 
I would highly appreciate your help and information.
