... which is why makeBaseApp applications run checkRelease at build time to
compare the RELEASE file paths for the application with those of all its
support modules. If you disable checking by setting CHECK_RELEASE=NO you're
arming your own foot-gun (recent versions of Base do print a warning in this
case; if I need to disable the check I *always* set it to WARN instead of NO).
