Martin,

That rings a bell.  If I recall correctly, those records were commented out of base/src/rec/Makefile in some version of base that I was using at some point.  Or maybe the records were built, but they weren't included in base/dbd/base.dbd.  Something like that.  The easiest thing is probably to edit base/src/rec/Makefile and rebuild base.

Subject: StreamDevice 2.5: does not find record type aai

Hi,
I get an error (see attached file) when I try to build StreamDevice 2.5
against EPICS base (Michael Davidsavers Debian package 3.14.11-8) and
Asyn R4-17. It complains about the record type aai which cannot be found
for the stream device support. If I comment out the lines 15 and 16 in
stream.dbd the build finishes.

Do you have any idea why aai and aao are not found? Everything worked
fine with StreamDevice 2.4.
