I am told that the PLC is using revision 13.04 with a newer Ethernet
adapter card. We will be looking at this some more tomorrow to see
what the ether_ip driver sees at the time o the dropout.
Thanks,
Marty

I have other PLCs that I'm talking to though from the same machine
just a different soft IOC that do not have this same problem. For
some reason it is only this 1 PLC.
Marty--
Which ethernet module and firmware version are you using on your control
logix PLCs? We've seen some buggy firmware versions which caused the PLC
to occasionally drop its ethernet connection. Scanned ai records with
ether_ip show a value of 0.0 with a READ error when the network
connection is dropped.
