Hi,
I've been using CSS BOY quite successfully the last few months and find it a great product and am looking forward to the next release. I have a few questions / suggestions on the Data Browser widget I'm hoping a someone can help me with:
1. The Data Browser Widget does not have the same functionality as the Data Browser tab. e.g. The latter can show the properties panel and Inspect Samples at runtime. Is it possible for the Widget to have the same functionality as the tab?
2. As a workaround for #1 I tried opening the Data Browser in a new tab from right clicking on the Data Browser widget. All the PVs are shown in the new tab but macro replacement is not done.
3. At runtime if I right click on a PV and select Process Variable -> Data Browser a new Data Browser tab is opened each time. It would be good if I could add a PV to an existing Data Browser tab from the PV's context menu.
4.It would be nice if there was an option to dynamically resize the Data Browser widget at runtime (the Data Browser tab already does this). I thought I could do it with some Javascript but I would need a way to get the current window's width. display.getPropertyValue("width"); will just return the initial width set in the properties at edit time. I would also need some way of triggering the javascript on a display size change. Anyone know if that is possible in BOY?
Cheers
