The Advanced Photon Source (APS) Engineering Support Division at Argonne
National Laboratory has 2 immediate openings for a Software Engineering
Associate. The person will work in a group of software engineers
specializing in developing, integrating, and supporting a variety of
software for improving the process of conducting experiments on the
Advanced Photon Source (APS) beamlines. Works collaboratively with, or
under direction of, group staff and beamline scientists to design
software solutions for experimental workflow problems. Implements
software in a variety of domains including graphical user interfaces,
data analysis and visualization, web development, web services,
automation, high-performance computing, and data management.
