Paul,
Many ways to do this, without knowing your system's needs I'll give a
simple, slow way, which should get you closer:
Assume Trip/Reset is a BI record that refelects your hardware.
BI record: Link BI's VAL to INPA of CALCOUT record (NPP MS).
CALC record: SCAN 1 Hz, CALC is A?1:0 , output on transition 0->1, OUT
link to the PROC of a SEQ record (PP MS) , don't drive output on
INVALID severity.
SEQ record: SCAN passive, put in the DLY you want, LNKA to your AO
record's PROC (PP MS).
AO record: SCAN passive, output slew rate and drive limits?,
Closed_Loop mode and a DOL link to the voltage you want (or have SEQ
LNK to VALV if using supervisory mode)., don't drive outputs on
INVALID severity.
