Hi Bruce,

I'm not sure mca really needs std 2.9 (it will probably work with
earlier versions), it's just that what I built it with, so I know it
works.

In any event you can get std 2.9 from Subversion here:

https://subversion.xor.aps.anl.gov/synApps/std/tags/R2-9/

All synApps modules are now available with Subversion in that tree now.

Recent versions of the mca module require std 2.9 to build,
but the latest version I can find via the EPICS module list is 2.8.
Does anyone know where I can find std 2.9?
