Hi Eric,

What version of g++ is installed? I recently installed mingw 4.5.2 here. I
will update the R3.14 branch from Bazaar in the morning and verify that
everything builds ok.        

Also, please send the complete error message. With C++ (in particular g++)
the error messages can be quite verbose, but nevertheless sometimes the
details are needed.
