Our lab CEA Saclay IRFU is organizing with Kay Kasemir from SNS a training at Saclay on CSS. It will take place from Monday October 17^th to Friday, October 21^st. It will start on Monday at 1. The number of participants is limited to 20.

Kay will present all the sessions.

  Installing, configuring, running CSS

  Starting with MySQL, JMS, Java, Eclipse and the CSS sources,

  how to build the Archive Engine, Alarm Server, CSS GUI.

  how to configure them.

  how to run the archive engine.

  how to tweak CSS for Saclay’s site end users.

  how to run the alarm server.

* Wednesday:

  Basic CSS/Eclipse usage

  Data Browser, EPICS PV tree, ...

* Thursday:

  BOY
