Hi,

Although I have given two slides mentioning it during EPICS meeting at
ITER, it had not been brought further to public afterwards and it had
even not a proper module name.

Work has since been done to consolidate the API between the server tool
and driver implementation. It is now a mimic/shanzhai[1] of
asynPortDriver's concept[2].
It separates the actual working logic from channel access handling.
Giving Python's dynamic typing and rich extensions, this becomes more
simple than writing a C++ asyn port driver. One example is the Python
port of testAsynPortDriver[2] with ~100 lines of codes including
comments, blank lines and database definition.

Oscilloscope

Now the source is hosted at http://pcas.googlecode.com. Three examples
are given to show its capabilty,
