I can't answer that question myself but I'm guessing there has been no work on 
it since 2009 — we have fixed CAS bugs in the more recent releases, but Jeff 
Hill is usually pretty good at updating the bug tracker (Launchpad) when he 
fixes something.  Given the forest fires around the Los Alamos Lab right now 
I'm not expecting that we'll hear from him for a while, unfortunately.
