This release candidate only contains changes that fix bugs or add build 
configuration files for new or updated target architectures.  No new 
functionality has been added, and all of the R3.14.12 Known Problems have been 
fixed.  As this is a patch release the software has not gone through the full 
testing regime that a minor release does.

A tarfile and an updated copy of the the RELEASE_NOTES are available from the 
R3.14.12 page at http://www.aps.anl.gov/epics/base/R3-14/12.php — please read 
the RELEASE_NOTES for details of the changes included.

If no major problems are reported with this software, the final 3.14.12.1 
release will be made on April 26th.  Feedback is appreciated as soon as 
possible.
