Hello,

I am trying to configure the alarm handler to send a notification to a pager by using $SEVRCOMMAND. I have a channel, IG1:STATON, and when it is turned off or tripped off, the alarm handler alarms. However, I don't get the notification to my pager.

$SEVRCOMMAND DOWN_MAJOR send_alhmail.pl [email protected] 555 1

When I change DOWN_MAJOR to UP_MAJOR, I receive a notification. Could someone please explain when/how to use UP_MAJOR and DOWN_MAJOR?
