Hi Elliot,

to my knowledge you can connect about 40 devices to 1 CAN bus, for bus load reasons.
You should also consider that any break in the CANbus lines will disconnect all
devices behind the disruption.

We had something like 30 devices (Wiener crates, and similar devices) to one TIP810 controller.
This turned out to be very messy when people disconnected a crate and forgot to bridge
the cable.
