I assume your code is perfect and you're sure that you put the correct
statements into your plugin.xml to register your widget, but it still
doesn't show up.
Does the plugin actually get loaded?
In CSS (or any Eclipse RCP app for that matter), check the menu Help,
About..., "Installation Details" button, Plug-ins tab.
You can sort the list of plugins by name etc. by clicking on the table
headers.
Does your plugin show up in that list?
If your plugin doesn't show up, read
http://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/cs-studio/wiki/UpdateRepository
especially the section "Use of dropins, direct plugin manipulations".
