I understand that newer versions of LabView, if ordering certain options,
include an embedded ca client and portable ca server interfacing directly
with LV shared variables. As memory serves you will need the data-logging
and supervisorial control module, but I would check with David B to verify
this.

With sufficient thrust, pigs fly just fine. However, this is
not necessarily a good idea. It is hard to be sure where they
are going to land, and it could be dangerous sitting under them
