Hi Tom,
I would definitely like to get the tar file. The camera we have is
currently running on a Windows machine, so I will probably try to make
the driver work on both Linux and Windows, as the Prosilica and some
other drivers currently do.
Thanks,
Mark

Hi Mark,
Yes, I wrote one using areaDetector 1-4 and asyn 4-10 for the iKon CCD.
It uses a USB interface.
So it needs updating, and there are a few features I'd like to add
before I consider it finished. But the I16 beamline at Diamond have been
using it routinely for about a year.
I can send you a tar file of what I have.
It works on RHEL5 with no problems (but didn't work on RHEL4).
Features:
Trigger readout and save files in TIFF.
Change between internal software trigger and external trigger.
Set and read the exposure time.
Set and read the filename/path.
Set and read temperature of CCD.
Control the internal shutter, and the opening time.
Set and read the CCD readout rate (for low noise operation).
Basic GUI.
The software depends on an install script from Andor that needs to be
run as root. It installs a shared library in /usr/lib/ and USB udev
scripts.
Cheers,
Matt
