You're correct. I'll update the Data Browser to replace zero timestamps in 'live' data with the local time.
Note that this affects only 'monitored' mode. When configuring a sample 'period', the Data Browser has always behaved like Striptool and used the local clock.
When leaving the sample period at zero, it now tries to use the received time stamp, but as this case shows that can be problematic.
