We at PSI agreed with Pro-Dex to send ALL our MAXv boards back. They
started to send us 10 new boards which we exchanges for 10 old ones.
When they send the next 10 we exchange them and so on. All in all we
have about 80 MAXvs at the moment.

Ron,
Phil Brown's letter implies that there is a range of boards affected,
because the problem started when "a change in a component by the
manufacturer ... worked into our supply". So there is a lower limit
to the serial numbers, below which we don't need to worry about
the problem. Does OMS know, in terms of serial numbers, about
where the problem crept in? I don't want to send back any boards
unnecessarily.
Thanks,
Kurt

With their permission, I am passing along an announcement
from OMS concerning the reliability of their MAXv motor controller.
The short synopsis is; there was a problem, they have diagnosed it,
all boards after s/n 966 are fixed and they are offering to fix any
boards
before s/n 967 for free.
