How about 64.

And I assumed you had a reasonable number in mind. :-)

I have less than 400 calc records in each of my IOCs, and each IOC has
32 MB of memory or more. So, increasing the size of the CALC field is
not a problem for me. (I'd even be OK w/ a size of 128.) But I know
you or others may have different usage patterns.

I just like the idea in general because I know I've had times when I've
ran into the CALC field length limit.

If this change is made, I would hope it would be made for the calcout
CALC and OCAL fields too.

And, not in EPICS base, but it would be great if the acalcout and
scalcout records in the synApps calc module could get similar size
changes since I've run into their field length limits before too.

Thanks,

Lewis
