Hi,
> I would check out the CSS archiver in use at the SNS.
Where can we find source code and documentation? Our questions are still very 
basic: How to build the data collection deamon? How to setup the tables in the 
RDB? And how to configure which PV are collected?

Can someone point us to the documentation please?
