On my CentOS 4.8 system I have /usr/X11R6/lib64/libXaw.so installed from the xorg-x11-devel-6.8.2-1.EL.63 RPM package.
For this older version of CentOS you will also need to change epics/extensions/configure/os/CONFIG_SITE.linux-x86_64.linux-x86_64 to:
X11_LIB=/usr/X11R6/lib64
X11_INC=/usr/X11R6/include
MOTIF_LIB=/usr/X11R6/lib64
MOTIF_INC=/usr/X11R6/include
And if you are interested. We already have SDDS RPM packages that will work on this system. You can get them at:
