Speed? 9600 baud is rather slow nowadays.
Also recent versions of vxWorks 6.x support running multiple target shells at
the same time, but I should warn anyone who tries this that the EPICS shell
commands were not written to expect that to be possible, and may have major
issues with deadlocks or unprotected accesses. I believe the IOC shell is
reentrant, but I'm not sure if it's thread-safe.
In general therefore I agree with Ralph that using serial consoles is still
probably a better solution.
