hello,

I am using the good old striptool.
(Works well on 64 bit if you ever wonder)

I noticed that the striptool GUI pops up only when the PV are accessible.
(i.e when the IOC is started)

Is there a way to modify this behavior? ultimately I would like the GUI to start immedialtely regardless or the status of the IOC.
