Hi James,

The Hypertable version used is mentioned on the web pages, that seems stable. We used both: a regular fs and Hadoop. The choice to use that DB was directed based on the best performance in meaning of large-scale data-intensive tasks. This project is not completed yet but is in advance status, details, source code, and slides presented on this at BNL and at last Epics meeting are available : http://www.lnl.infn.it/~epics/joomla/ under the "Archiver" menu.

Hope this helps,
- Mauro

Dear Mauro

Please could you comment on the stability of Hypertable, did you use the lastest release for your benchmarks? Which distributed file system do you use? And what directed your choice of Hypertable over other Bigtable-style archivers.

Regards

James
