Hello:
It only supports monochrome images, i.e. EPICS waveforms where each element
is something like a grayscale intensity, and it then displays that either as
a grayscale image, or in various false-color maps.
We use it with 8 bit data, but 16 bit should work as well.
If not, you'd have to let us know about the specific data type that doesn't
work, and then we can look at fixing that.
