Experimental Physics and Industrial Control System

Hi,

This is, coincidentally, a similar question to Ralph's earlier today.

Diamond wants to buy a mass spectrometer for a gas reaction cell. The
Scientists have proposed systems from Hiden Analytical (HPR-20 QIC),
Pfeiffer vacuum (Omnistar or Prisma) and MKS (Cirrus). At this stage I
know nothing about these systems, but if we are really lucky it might be
that the MKS unit may be able to be controlled using the our RGA
software (since it is also MKS).

However, has anyone else tackled a similar problem? Googling for
anything like this in association with EPICS shows up nothing. Does
anybody have some mass spectrometer support that I am missing?
