I want to run the IOC inside ADAM-5510(Advantech PC based data acquisition module,do google or http://www.advantech.com/products/ADAM-5510/mod_1-2MLE35.aspx) which consists 16 bit processor and Datalight ROM-DOS.I could have accessed the device I/O(it consists several Analog/digital input/Output modules which can be accessed by sending ASCII commands through RS232/485) using asyn by running the IOC outside.However,the module provides the facility to program outside application,hence, thought it will be nice if I can build my IOC inside without any fieldbus delay.
