Subject: running IOC on 80188 processor running DOS

Is it possible to build and IOC on 80188 processor running DOS?
I am planning to put DOS RT kernel above DOS and build the IOC.
1.What are the steps I should follow?
2.Can I use the available base source files directly to build the IOC?
