Phil,

This seems to be a serious problem with an entire batch of MAXv's. We've now seen the problem on 3 out of 3 units at X-17B2 at NSLS, and a number of other beamlines. I think Pro-Dex should offer firmware upgrades even on out-of-warranty boards for this problem, since users may not become aware of the problem until after the warranty expires.

Mark

Hello Marty,

Products that are under warranty are available for a free firmware upgrade.

Thanks,
Phil

Is this firmware upgrade considered to be a free warranty upgrade?
If not what is the cost for the firmware upgrade?

Thanks,
Marty Smith

Our customer service department can provide an RMA number and the address to send the controller to ([email protected] or 1-800-707-8111).
